I started this website in order to post the materials I have created over the last 16 years. I hope they are helpful to new and experienced teachers. Please keep checking back, as I have just started the process of sorting through and uploading my resources.
I have taught 8th grade (grade level & "honors"), 9th grade (grade level and "honors"), 10th grade "honors," AP Language & Composition, 11 grade level, IB Language & Literature (11& 12), reading, 10 Integrated, self-contained 9-11, and a variety of summer school courses. When I was working on my masters degree, I remediated K-12 struggling readers.
Through all of this, I have learned that the only thing that is consistent about teaching is that your courses will always change! This is frustrating, since planning takes up so much time and we are never given the time we need to do it well. I hope that by providing resources, I can free up some time in your day or give you a starting point for your planning.
